It depends on the type of holiday experience that you are looking for. Tobago is a small enough island so that you can easily visit both beaches during your stay. A rental car would be helpful for this. If you prefer a holiday where you can WALK to the shops, to the restaurants and to neighbourhood bars and nightclubs then Karawak would probably suit you better than Mt. Irvine Bay hotel. If you prefer nature, peace and quiet- choose Mt. Irvine.
