Hello, I'm really sorry, we've tried to answer this question several times, and it doesn't seem to show up in the answers. I really apologize for this. Our tours last approximately 1 - 1 1/4 hours. There is an initial part of the tour in the Office/Welcome Center, focusing on the phonograph and movie making, and some original pieces to see of Edison's writings, etc. the mail part of the tour is next door, in the house where Edison was born and lasts 45 min. to 1 hr. If you come in the late spring, summer, or early fall, the grounds are very pretty and you can walk around. Late fall and winter, the grounds are very plain. There is a beautiful village square, with stores and restaurants for you to visit. I hope you will consider coming to see us. Again, I apologize for our response not showing. Lois Wolf, Director

He may be able to go in on the ground floor - but when we went, this was NOT accessible by wheelchair. The home is tiny and there is an upstairs you go up and see and also a downstairs. The stairs are very narrow, steep and not very wide. There are other buildings across the street with a wonderful paved pathway that he would be able to see a few things (like in the blacksmith shop). I'm not sure what is accessible over there, but a few places are.
