Hi we are visiting Tamarin Bay in September. My 2 sons who are confident surfers were hoping to catch a few waves while we are there. I have seen some nasty stories on the internet. If you have surfed there as a tourist especially can you please tell me of your experience.

Just got out from a session at Tamarin Bay, I have never in my life experienced such agression in the water. The locals are real idiots. I was expecting some agression so decided to hire a local surf guide who was useless at dealing with them. I'd honestly recommend you go somewhere more welcoming like Bali or Sri Lanka
