There are no hotels right by the lighthouse in South Haven. There is one on the water in town, but up by all the shops, Old Harbor Inn. You can get a little view/camera shot from Lake Bluff Inn & Suites on their observation deck. That is where we stayed. Stingy on the coffee-creamer-sugars for in room use, and they serve breakfast late. My husband and I are early risers. Clean though!
where can you park in order to walk out to the lighthouse? is it free?
答:
South Beach is the side you want to walk out on the pier to the light. In the offseason parking is free and close to the light. There are also great places to eat near by.
Can you actually go into the lighthouse or just see it from the outside?
答:
No you cannot go inside the lighthouse. They have a really nice beach that surrounds it and its nice to walk out on the pier that the lighthouse that sits on. Beautiful town loved our stay
