Which is better for this tour, and ATV or side by side? The ATV looks like more fun (I have the necessary experience), but wondering if it hurts your hand to hold the gas for this amount of time.

As a couple, we used the side by side which was just so much fun and our guide made sure we took our turns at the wheel if you wanted to switch. If you are experienced and want to do a single, they take frequent breaks throughout the trek to Knik Glacier (make sure you do the whole day trip!) - So it is not like you are going full throttle the whole time. They are a great excursion group with excellent guides that if you had any concerns, they are more than happy to help. Give them a call, very nice people and their main concern is that their customers have a great adventure.

The scenery is worth the ride in itself. If it hasn’t rained in a while take a face cloth or something to cover your nose and mouth as it gets very very dusty.

If you want to you can email me your clothing sizes I can make sure we have gear that will be comfortable for you. You’ll also want to wear a couple of layers so generally you will wear a size larger raincoat than your typical shirt size. Anyway, feel free to reach out further for more information about sizing.
