I see an hour time difference in the Skagway versus Juneau Dog Sled Discovery and Mushing camp experience. Looks like the exact same excursion....why is Skagway an hour longer.

I’d wear comfy shoes that you can walk around all day in (trainers, hiking shoes, not sandals) and of course layers. We were in jeans and windbreakers. It can get cool. The site can get quite dusty due to the dog runs but doesn’t get too hot as it is surrounded by trees so is quite lovely. They provide drinks and hand washing facilities - best got chocolate and the hand wash water is warmed - well thought through for chilly days! Just remember they are pretty much off the grid so no electricity and non mains toilet.
