Silver Oak Mazingira Hub is a community based organisation in Nairobi's Karen Area. The youth oriented group was started in July 2021 and is currently championed by university students in steering forward the world’s conservation agenda. The motivation has been growing tree species at the brink of extinction by engaging local communities in ecosystem restoration through Action on Research, Propagation (of Indigenous Trees), Conservation and Consultation for socio-economic transformation of our communities. This is mainly by multiplying production of quality indigenous seedlings, making them available to the public and private spaces where they will be protected and conserved. REG NO: DSD/47/277/02/4128
