We have active elders traveling with us. Is the falls accessible after a 0.4 mile hike from the parking lot? I wasn’t sure the duration for parking to the falls?

The parking lot 1 is very close to the trailhead. You will pass the trailhead to get to the parking. It might be another 0.1 miles not far.

The initial part of the trail is very rocky, a 4-point walker would have difficulty finding even areas to place weight on. The rocky area only goes for a few feet so if he gets flanked by two …
The initial part of the trail is very rocky, a 4-point walker would have difficulty finding even areas to place weight on. The rocky area only goes for a few feet so if he gets flanked by two people for support he might be able to muddle through instead of being carried. Park on parking lot #1 as its the closest, I found the parking lot directions using Waze.
