Great hike through the rain forest. Would love to see some kind of overlook at the halfway point. Slightly treacherous due to mud and rocks. I'm 61, husband is 64, we did fine on the trail, but you h… amykF6620CK的完整评论

This is an immersive forest hike, taking 1-2 hours depending how slowly you like to take it to spot the flora and fauna. Drive and park at the trail head - its free. Visit local legend Jim in the sh… 67RichP的完整评论

We will be arriving to Tortola in Jan, via cruise ship. We would like to go to Sage mountain. Is there a tour that takes you there’s?

I feel like a lot of people didn't get any answers to their questions but I'll give it a go. We will be in Tortola in January on a Disney cruise with our 5 and 3 year old. Are these hikes suitable for younger kids? Our kids are definitely used to hikes but I want to make sure it is still considered safe enough for them. Also wondering how difficult it would be to get to the trail head from the port and then back again?

Hi The walk can be muddy and slippery so good walking shoes or boots needed, there's some fallen trees so you need to climb over them, so don't go in your best clothes LOL. Not going to be easy with the younger ones, but not impossible either , walk is approx 2 miles, and took 1.5 hrs. View is not bad but not fantastic, personally I would take the ferry to Virgin Gorda and do the Bath's walk, absolutely beautiful and more fun for kids and adults.Oh you can get a taxi to the trail from Port no probs.
