Or is there a closer drop-off point on the Inner Circle? 2. I see that the exit gate is behind the theatre, not near the York Bridge Gates. Will there be cabs there or will I need to call for one?

Thought I would update. After reading the replies, I bought an Oyster Card and took the Tube (forst time) to Baker Street both ways. I cannot walk very fast, and I was concerned about following the crowd to Baker Street lest I be left behind trailing everyone, but I was able to keep up and all was well. The show was wonderful.
