Hello, You will get wet. When in Alaska we keep our camera's in waterproof bags. You will want to protect your camera and have a leash on it so you have it when you return. Enjoy.

I had the same concern before I went on this activity. But I found out first hand that there is no real worry in this regard. The ride is very bumpy but to such that it shakes one overly violently. The lady next to me was very elderly (in her late 70's or even early 80's) and I worried for her safety but she "survived" the ride with no apparent issues. If you have any concerns for an older or younger person, take a spot closer to the rear as opposed to the front of the boat.
