Spent the day hiking and exploring the area. It is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. The lava fields are very interesting. The lakes in the actual crater are absolutely amazing. Dacen K的完整评论

It was open to hike in Sept 2020. The visitor center was closed but all else open. Probably will be open in 2021.

Yes it's part of the National Forest. The day-use is $5 per vehicle, or display a National Park Pass or Northwest Forest Pass. Passes are available at the Lava Lands Visitor …

Yes it's part of the National Forest. The day-use is $5 per vehicle, or display a National Park Pass or Northwest Forest Pass. Passes are available at the Lava Lands Visitor Center (currently closed). Check to make sure the sites are open before you go; some are only open in summer, and some may be closed due to Covid-19.
