A 1/2 dig tour allow you to participate with our palaeontologist and field technicians in an actual dig at one of our 32 identified dig sites. There is a greater than 90 percent chance of actually discovering a fossil and you will also see fossils in the process of being uncovered and can assist in that process as well. The tour includes a VIP guided tour of the museum that also allows you behind the scenes into our collection room and lab. The pricing is generally much better than comparable tours offered by other museums.

The CFDC has the largest collection of marine reptile fossils in Canada and showcases the largest mosasaur on display in the world - Bruce, a Guinness Record holder. There is nothing quite like the CFDC in the province. I hope this helps.
Itsaid u can go on a dig for $8/person i would like to go.
