Hi, I was wondering how far off of Gulf Road is the parking lot and how from the parking lot is castle ruins? Someone mentioned that the road is dirt. Is that Gulf Road or the road leading to the parking lot? We're taking motorcycles and want to get a feel for the road conditions and how long of a visit it would be just to check out the castle ruins (not to hike). Lastly, is it well marked and easy to find since there doesn't appear to be an actual address for the GPS? Thanks in advance for any help. Ross

The castle ruins are... maybe a minute from the parking lot? Two, if you're slow? When you park and are facing the lake/swamp, turn right and follow the trail up over a little rise. You'll see it!
