Not terribly sure about that, there are restaurants and I am sure there is shopping nearby. It is a lovely neighborhood, and the Houston Zoo is also nearby.
My husband is a patient at MD Anderson. Does the museum have wheelchairs available or must we bring our own? Also, generally is the museum easily accessible? Are private tours available for people with some walking limitations? TIA

I would say that the museum in general is very accessible. I don’t know if they have wheelchairs, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I’m not sure how close you’ll be able to park, though ..
