Yes absolutely! For a continuous path start on the east side at Bushe'y campground and take the east to south to north utilizing the dam as part of the hike. Then access the trail just north of the dam parking lot to access the north path which leads past an old winery site and ends at the swimming and main picnic area. Lots to see on well maintained paths used daily by locals. Bring plenty of water.

I hike & paddle at the lake frequently without a reservation. The lake is up now, which is nice. A permit for parking is needed except for the visitor center & observation/picnic area. Campgrounds are available. You will need to contact the park rangers about needing a camping reservation based on your arrival/departure dates. Can be crowded on holiday weekends.
