My husband and I are taking an overdue cruise for 7 days and have 5 hours in Kotor. We are trying to take advantage of our limited time and prefer to avoid the large generic tour groups offered by the cruise company. We love local foods and culture, speak English, are active in our early 50’s. Having read about some of the less than perfect experiences that the TA community has had, I am wondering if you can give me your expert recommendations for what we can hope to see. Can you tell me if it would be possible to get a private guild and how much it would cost us? Do we need a guild or can we see and access the sites on our own?
