The Innovation Academy is a STEAM magnet program at Springfield Middle School in Robertson County. The Innovation Academy is academically rigorous, focusing on Project Based Learning activities that will prepare scholars for college and career. Scholars engage in hands-on, technology-based activities while exploring how to solve problems in and around our community. There are leadership, time management, collaboration and critical thinking requirements in each of the projects. We are partnered with colleges and businesses around middle Tennessee to provide the most authentic STEAM program possible. Scholars work together on projects designed to integrate concepts from their entire curriculum bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts.
