My husband and I will be visiting Iguazu from San Diego 2/20 - 2/23/18, so we have 2 days to see everything including the town. Based on what I have read on line it seems like we don't have to book any tours in advance - just go with some pesos in our pockets (and maybe a packed lunch from the hotel). I would book a tour or in advance if it is going to save us from standing in long lines. We certainly want to see the falls and park & take a boat ride under the falls, maybe a jungle 4x4 excursion if it's worth it. One reviewer said that we can drop the upper Circuit if we run out of time. Any recommendations about how to do the 2 days? Thank you.

Hi we stayed overnight and did one day at the falls. There is a lot of walking and the trains available do help. We would have not taken the jeep safari as it was not at all worth it. The boat ride was fabulous but where you disembark lots of stairs and a long way to walk. We booked our package right inside the gate ask what is included. Saw everything in 1 day but it would be worth it to travel to the Brazil side of the falls we didn't have enough time. Have a great experience it is so worth it! Val

I bought them in the park - once you hit lunchtime there doesn't seem to be much of an issue with buying a ticket - I bought one and was on the boat 30 minutes later. I'd suggest doing the whole walkround in the morning and then doing the boat trip afterwards. You won't be hot after you've been soaked!!!!
Is it possible to book the Gran Aventura trip in advance? Do not see any booking options on their website, only information about the different options.
