The castle is impressive and views from it are amazing. However, the entry price is extremely high at 25 euros per head. A word of warning to anyone thinking of going by public transport. The adverti… AlanP98765的完整评论

First off, I just want people to know that you CAN buy your tickets onsite! Everything I could find seemed to indicate that you needed to buy your tickets online, but we just could not commit to a sp… TGKimmy的完整评论

I had a very disappointing experience at the castle. If you arrive just 1 minute late, they won’t let you in. There are no English explanations provided anywhere, which made it difficult to understan… Traveler55095885055的完整评论
Are there taxis stationed near the castle that can take us back to Hechingen Station? We’re thinking of taking the bus back but just wanted to know in case we miss it.

Hi , is there any public transport from either Hechingen train station or Hohenzollern Castle to go to Zeller Horn for a full view of the castle as i am not self-drive. I did some research and see that it's quite a far distance to walk there. And, is it easy to get a taxi at the train station? Thank you.

Hi! My husband and I are planning a honeymoon in Germany this winter. I was trying to figure out if we should stay in Hechingen for 2 nights (arriving at night, spending the next day seeing the castle and then leaving the next morning) or if that seems too long? It seems like there is not too much to do in the actual town besides see the castle. We would be coming from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, (A 6 1/2 hour bus trip) so I wasn't sure if we should stay somewhere part-way there the night before like Stuttgart or Reutlingen the night before, instead of two nights in Hechingen. We are getting around by public transportation. Any insight would be helpful! Thanks
