I have seen them, but mountain bikes are much better. Most of the trail is flat, with a small incline. Ken Lockwood Gorge is paved. The trail for the most part is packed dirt and some gravel. It is flat, so good for hiking....and very pretty views of the river and falls.
The Trail runs through High Bridge, NJ. I do not recall any hotels there. Might be some B and B type places. There are hotels in Clinton about 2-3 miles away.
