Great visit. We spent just a couple of hours looking at the amazing canyon. Wow! More impressive than Grand Canyon. Very deep & walls are amazing. You must walk from 200-400 ft to a viewing area… milltravel59的完整评论
Are there lots of Aspens and fall color in Gunnison National Forest? We're trying to decide if it's worth driving up to Crested Butte or heading over to Gunnison to enjoy the fall colors. Leaving from Telluride and don't want to spend any more time in the car than we have to to.

Not from Colorado, but there are lots of Aspens. Crested Butte was beautiful this summer!

Temps can vary widely. The usual range is between low 30's and low 60's. Snow can occur at the higher elevations too. Each year is different and hard to predict. In Colorado we say, "wait 5 minutes and the weather will change". Being prepared for all conditions is my advice.
