The house is very nice, being basically unchanged since Gari Melcher's wife died, so it's sort of a neat time capsule of mid to early 20th century. Some nice walking trails around the areas as well.… Dave C的完整评论

Is the home and studio in historic Fredericksburg old town? Is it feasible to have a group tour of Gari Melchers home and a tour of Kenmore Mansion in the same day? I would be bringing a seniors' group tour from St. Mary's MD and would need to leave Fredericksburg by 3:15 p.m. to avoid the Nice Bridge traffic.

This gives time to organize your group, visit the restroom facilities and view True and Clear, a short introductory film about Gari Melchers and his career. This also includes time to browse our museum shop after your tour. Your group will be divided into smaller groups, so all can enjoy their visit.
