its not a tourist attraction, its somewhere you take your dog for a walk. It's a local pond with a sailing club attached to it. For some reason just now, during the virus, some have read that its some kind of high end beach like a coastal experience....its not! It's a pond full of various water life from water rats to eels etc...its not ideal for swimming. I'm sure all have somewhere close to their home where they can walk a dog or run around. To answer your question please stay away if you are not local. The mecia have asked people to do that as the area cannot cope with cars parked all over the place. Presently with this warm weather the queues are dreadful and for what, a bit of scrub land and a tiny road side cafe... This is blamed on the fact that lidos etc are closed. Honestly, drive to the coast if you want to entertain your family, the locals here have ahd enough of people using the locality as a public toilet!! It really is no fun for you!!
