How many hours would you say an average visit would be? I’m interested in the guided tours in addition to evening activities. Just sounds like a long day!

3 to 4 hours is plenty of time to see most. Many people go at night to view the stars & planets.

The lectures themselves seem to be given IN the buildings so you'd want to check building access. The museum/gift shop is easily accessible via paved surfaces from the parking lot and there were no steps in the museum/gift shop that I recall.
