My husband and I, both musicians from Northern California, will be visiting Crete from April 25-May 7. As we will NOT be traveling with our instruments, we are really hoping that perhaps we could rent a guitar and bouzouki for the ten days we are there. We'll be flying into Chania on April 25, which is the day we would like to pick up the instruments. We'll be staying on the south coast for a week, then a few days in Archanes, and then we'll be back in Rethymno on May 4. Might anyone know if there is a shop in either Chania or Rethymno that does such rentals? My husband also happens to be a luthier.
