The price of visiting this park is quite expensive, but I don’t have a problem with that as the costs to maintain/staff it must be high. However the biggest problem was the quality of the map given t…Janeybgood59的完整评论

I love a good National Park, I grew up going to the many we have in SA for holidays. I have, however, never, until this December been to the Bontebok National Park. What a gem, it is nestled across t…byrnek2022的完整评论
We are planning to visit the park on the day after Christmas, are you open then. How much does it cost for car with 2 seniors and two adults. Is the road ok to drive on and how far to you have to drive to see animals.

Sorry don't know if open, you'd have to ask park for entrance fee, i suggest you buy a "Wild Card" it pays for itself after just a few visits to a couple of parks.
Do we need a car to get there? We plan to take the intercape bus from cape town to swellendam which would drop us off at the Groentemark in Voortrekker street. It will be only two of us. Is is safe enough to hike? Is there perhaps a group that walks often in the area? We hope to travel on the 31st July for a few days. Thanks!

Yes you need a car but I believe there are taxis. Definitely too far to walk -and inside the parkek the same!

Hi. You should email the park info centre directly (the email address is on the Sanparks website.) They are extremely helpful and courteous. There are no shops or fuel facilities in the park, but the park gate is only a few hundred metres from Swellendam where you can get anything you need. Bear in mind that January is an extremely hot month. Also don't forget to visit the Drostdy Museum Complex in Swellendam, it is well worth it.
