Appleton West is one of three public four-year high schools in Appleton and is accredited by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Current enrollment is approximately 1,336. The calendar consists of two 18-week semesters. Students and parents are served by a dedicated teaching staff of 82 and support staff of 42. The support staff includes a Principal, two Associated Principals, an Activities Director, a Dean of Students, a School Psychologist, a School Social Worker, a School Nurse and four School Counselors.
