We as a Muslim community, in the west, are living in a challenging time. Although all sections of the Muslim community have their own challenges to keep on the ‘straight path’, our youths, in particular, are increasingly finding it difficult to relate to their parents, elders and their Deen. It's also becoming common to see the lives of some of our youth spiralling downwards into free fall, without much control or satisfaction, other than in the impermissible such as drugs, alcohol etc. With this as context Al-Huda (The Guidance) Academy was established in October 2005, under the patronage of Hadhrat Mawlana Muhammed Saleem Dhorat hafizahullah, to revive the Deen & engender a greater understanding, in particular amongst the Muslim Youth.
